CREATOR & AUTHOR

Andrew is an aspiring physician with a B.S. in Communication and Cultural Studies from New York University. His passion for global human development has led him to explore issues of health and wellness from a dynamic, multi-approach standpoint.

Working as an advocate in New York City, he has conferenced with local representatives on issues concerning LGBTQ and minority rights, and medical policy rights for cancer patients

He has also been equally active on an international scale. In Yokosuka, Japan he co-developed and implemented a youth empowerment and social wellness program, Voice.Identify.Produce (VIP), for U.S. Military Dependent high school students. Additionally, he has traveled to Beijing and Xi’An, China assisting in medical fieldwork in both urban and rural environments.

Andrew hopes to not only treat those in need of immediate medical attention, but also address the cultural, economic and political structures that influence the status of health around the globe.

Catherine is Executive Assistant at the American Swiss Foundation, a New York based private non-profit organization. There she is responsible for assisting in the coordination of the Foundation’s central program, the Young Leader’s Conference, held annually in Switzerland.

Catherine graduated from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study in 2009, with a concentration in Race, Class, and Identity in American History, and is currently enrolled part-time in CUNY Graduate Center’s MALS program in International Studies. In her spare time, she enjoys New York City’s fantastic live music scene, traveling, and cooking.
